Be Aware! Domain Scam? Liberty Names of America
Since I got many domains, I got many letters from some companies like Liberty Names of America asking me to pay amazingly high annual fees to renew my domains. I had been wondering how a company can compete and waste money on this kind of promotion letters until I read about this blog:

Most of the people believe it is a scam like the Domain Registry of America scammers who do the same thing as Liberty Names despite this…

From there you can see “Under the terms of the stipulated final order announced today, Domain Registry of America (DROA), based in Ontario, Canada, may be required to provide redress to up to 50,000 consumers, is prohibited from engaging in similar conduct in the future, and is subject to stringent monitoring by the Commission to ensure its compliance with the court order.” I just wonder if Liberty Names of America should be bared the same way. Actions? It’s been more than a year. As of May 2008, Liberty Names of America is doing the same thing freely.
