PostHeaderIcon Portable Google Chrome Master Password

Many users of Chrome have been complaining about lack of master password even since Chrome came over long time ago. Sadly, Google didn’t response to the complaints at all.

Now I’m running Portable Google Chrome 5.0.335.0 from Portable Apps and still have seen a sign of solutions from Google.

Maybe Google just doesn’t want to give a false sense of security with the master password, but I do believe Firefox and other major browsers have a good reason to offer master password to handily protect to some extent.

Now most of the Chrome users who complained found the Chrome extension LastPass to their rescue. This handy extension LastPass has 80,593 users – Weekly installs: 12,468. And I found it work pretty well too. As I was also working with Kaiser Permanente on security issues and am well aware of HIPAA compliance requirements, I want to share this article with you:
LastPass: Is it the password manager for you?, published not long ago.
